Fashion Design Undergraduate Programme —

Valorisation of local crafts, personal

students identities and sustainability.

As Mumbai’s Fashion design course leader, the main task was to highlight sustainability, inclusivity, valorisation of local crafts and student’s personalities through the existing course curriculum.

The main objective was to craft the course in order to meet the current market criteria, creation and management of lateral activities ( sponsorship/ visits ) to support the student’s development journey.

The use of different educational methods have been applied considering diversity in learning processes and cultural adjustment which helped and supported the experience and journey of personal expression.

Visual communication, alongside verbal communication and presentation have been explored for sophistication of their personal language. The creation of a safe, experimental playful set was instrumental for growth, learning process and confidence.

Alongside design, I have been working on the collaboration and management of the embroidery sponsorships with Italian - Mumbai based partner “ Rilievi” for the design, technicality and making of all the crafted pieces for the collections.
