WOMENSWEAR DESIGNER
As womenswear designer I was in charge of creating seasonal mood boards for inspiration, trend research before moving to drafting ideas for design development to the finalisation of products for the main collections, exhibitions and collaborations.
Big focus was place on the surface development: sourcing material/fabric/trimmings, preparing colours and textile selection was necessary for the development of textile manipulation, print creations and further seasonal creations.
Shapes and detailing were developed in studio through toiles patterns and draping alongside finishing samples.
Further finalisation like production support with tech pack, measuring patterns and production fitting were also managed.
STUDIO MANAGER
Studio daily duties and errands, leading interns for the development of the new upcoming collections. Updating the list and contacting seasonal fabric suppliers for studio fabric sourcing, while also attending textile fairs
Lead of pattern cutters and seamstress for final patterns and samples. Keeping communication with factory for sampling instructions and deliveries. Production trips to China
