This masterclass was designed to deepen student's understanding of tridimensionality in garment creation, moving beyond traditional 2D research methods.
While flat sketches and annotations provide valuable insights, they often fall short of capturing the full complexity of designing for the clothed body. This workshop will focus on transitioning from 2D concepts to 3D experimentation. Students works on a stand using paper, fabric, and other materials, exploring how their ideas translate into three-dimensional forms. The aim is to encourage interdisciplinary practices, fostering a more comprehensive and sophisticated approach to garment design, resulting in more intricate and well-rounded creations.
